Dates: Block A-Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24th & 25th 8 am-4 pm (Synchronous zoom sessions)
- This course will be a blend of scheduled Zoom and asynchronous learning time.
- Synchronous Zoom sessions from 10:00 am-3:00 pm (5/24-5/25)
- Asynchronous work for the course continues May 31st-June 3rd

Description: Please join the Iditarod Historic Trail Alliance, US Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management for a learning journey designed to help you engage your students in outdoor education connected to their local places. Learn about a variety of tools and resources to help you invigorate your teaching, grounded in the principles of place-based learning. You will learn how to engage your students in exploring nature through their senses, nature journaling, nature art, creating Questing treasure hunts, and outdoor classrooms. This course will blend learning together on Zoom with asynchronous work.
