Description: In this course, you will explore and discuss the current level of physical education and health in the state of Alaska. The class will explore how COVID changed instruction and what does “return to normal’ mean for those who teach in these subjects? Students will take time to find and evaluate current online resources to help develop ideas, lessons, and strategies for their classes in the upcoming school year. Finally, we will explore advocacy and develop strategies on how to advocate for your programs at the local, state, and national levels. Leaving this class students will have some classroom lessons and strategies ready for next year as well as have some strategies to advocate for their programs.
