Dates: Block B-Thursday and Friday, May 26th & 27th 8am-4pm (Synchronous zoom sessions)

Instructors:  Audrey Drew, Tammy Morris, Bob Pymn, and Cheryl Bobo

Description: A fun, engaging, intensive, hands-on, virtual workshop providing foundational experiences with computer science and the Code.org suite of tools for K-5 educators. The course provides the primary capacity-building experiences for teachers prior to their first year of instruction. Participants will explore the curriculum and tools, consider and experiment with specific classroom management and teaching strategies, and build a community of teachers who are using the computer science modules.
