Instructors: Nicole Draper
Description: In this course, teachers will learn specific classroom strategies for managing classroom behavior based on the book CHAMPS: A Positive and Proactive Approach to Classroom Management. A focus will be placed on Randy Sprick’s STOIC framework- Structure your classroom for success; Teach expectations; Observe student behavior; Interact positively; and Correct fluently). Discussions and assignments will focus on participants developing classroom management tools they can use in their own classroom.
Instructor Note: All registrants will need a copy of CHAMPS by Ancora Publishing.
