8am-12pm Morning Session; Afternoon language collaboration time

Morning session (8 am-Noon): Using the ACTFL book "Enacting the Work of Language Instruction: High-Leverage Teaching Practices (Volume 1)," Secondary World Language teachers will be introduced to seven HLTP's through a variety of stations facilitated by department chairs and other teacher leaders. Teachers will receive copies of this book as well as the recently published second volume. An optional 1-credit UAA course will be attached to this work for interested teachers.

Afternoon session: Teachers will be provided collaboration time within language-specific groups.
